Heavy-Duty 8" Forestry Mulching with 360° Retractable Hammers for Rocky & Unpredictable Terrain (10–20 Ton Excavators). When clearing overgrown right-of-ways, rocky mountain ditch banks, or municipal land where hidden boulders and steel debris lurk in the brush, fixed carbide teeth can chip on rock strikes. Manufactured in Italy by C4 Meccanica, the F Series (F110 & F150) uses heavy forged 360° Retractable Swinging Hammers inside a double-bottomed Hardox® housing—shredding trees up to 8.0" (200 mm) while folding back safely if the rotor hits solid rock.

🚨 3rd-Line Case Drain Required: This piston-motor attachment requires a dedicated low-pressure Case Drain line (direct to tank) in addition to your supply/return auxiliary lines. Operating without a case drain will blow motor seals immediately.

Universal Bolt-On Top Deck (3 Easy Mounting Paths): Because excavator pin diameters and stick widths vary across brands, this unit ships with C4 Meccanica's factory-drilled multi-hole bolt-on top deck:

Option 1Bolt On Your Existing Blank Coupler Adapter

Bolt any standard North American blank quick-coupler plate (Bobcat X-Change, Kubota Wedge, CAT Pin-Grabber, Wain-Roy, or Tag) directly to the pre-drilled top deck—zero welding onto the mulcher body required.

Option 2Add the Factory C4 Bolt-On Bracket

Pair with our matching C4 ATS(D170) (10–20 Ton) Bolt-On Bracket (available as optional bolt-on mounting hardware machined to your excavator’s exact pin geometry).

Option 3Recommended Hydraulic Whip Kit

Add the C4 3M (9.8 ft) High-Pressure Hydraulic Hose Kit (TIDR2) to connect from the integrated Fluidbox manifold to your dipper-stick auxiliary pipes.
