Refund policy

Griffin Attachments Return and Refund Policy

1. Guaranteed Fitment & Order Accuracy In accordance with the British Columbia Sale of Goods Act, we guarantee our products will match their description and fit the machine quick-attach system specified at the time of purchase. If a fitment error occurs due to our listing, or if you receive the incorrect item, contact us immediately at orders@griffinattachments.ca. We will evaluate the issue and arrange for a modification or exchange at no additional freight cost to you.

2. Standard Returns & Restocking Fees We maintain a strict 14-day return policy for standard inventory. You have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. Because we deal in heavy industrial freight, buyer-initiated returns are subject to the following conditions:

  • Condition: The attachment must be in the exact condition you received it. It must be completely unused, unmounted, unpainted, and unmodified. Equipment that has been run on a machine, scratched, or altered is strictly non-returnable.

  • Restocking Fee: All standard returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

  • Freight Costs: The buyer is 100% responsible for arranging and paying for return freight to our Metro Vancouver Fulfillment Center. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

3. Cancellations You may cancel your order for a 100% full refund at any time before the item has been dispatched with the freight carrier. Once the carrier has picked up the equipment, the order is subject to the standard return and restocking policy outlined above.

4. How to Start a Return Contact our Burnaby office at orders@griffinattachments.ca to initiate a return. If authorized, we will send you an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and the exact shipping coordinates for our fulfillment center. Do not send attachments back to our corporate office or without an RMA. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

5. Freight Damage & Receiving (Risk of Loss) All shipments are sent FOB (Free on Board) Origin. This means the risk of loss and title for the equipment passes to the buyer the moment the freight carrier picks up the item.

  • You must inspect all heavy freight upon delivery before signing the carrier’s Bill of Lading (BOL).

  • If damage is visible, you must explicitly note "DAMAGED" on the carrier’s delivery receipt and notify us within 24 hours.

  • Failure to note damage upon signing legally releases the freight carrier and Griffin Attachments from liability. If noted properly, we will act on your behalf to file the freight claim and resolve the issue.

6. Warranty Exceptions & The "Warranty Shield" Griffin Attachments is a licensed distributor, not the manufacturer. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all products are sold strictly subject to the respective manufacturer’s warranty, which serves as the exclusive remedy for defects in material or workmanship. We do not issue our own warranties, nor are we liable for incidental or consequential damages, including equipment downtime or lost labor. However, through our Warranty Shield guarantee, we pledge to manage the administrative claim process with the manufacturer on your behalf to ensure you receive the replacement parts or structural resolutions guaranteed by their policy.

7. Non-Returnable Items We cannot accept returns on custom-fabricated attachments, special-order items not part of our standard catalog, clearance items, or used equipment.

8. Refunds Process We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return at our warehouse. We will let you know if the refund was approved based on the condition of the steel. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method (minus the 20% restocking fee and original shipping costs) within 10 business days. Please note it can take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at orders@griffinattachments.ca.
