Griffin Attachments Shipping and Delivery Policy

Flexible Dispatch and Zero Border Friction All products listed on Griffin Attachments are priced in Canadian Dollars (CAD). To ensure the fastest possible delivery and highest availability, your equipment may be dispatched from our Richmond Fulfillment Center or shipped directly from one of our partner manufacturers' facilities. Regardless of the origin point, Griffin Attachments acts as your sole domestic distributor. You will never pay surprise customs, import duties, or cross-border brokerage fees.

Order Authorization and Payment Capture We believe in total transparency and zero hidden freight fees. When you place an order on our website, your payment method is strictly authorized, not charged. Before we capture your funds or finalize the sale, our logistics team will review your specific delivery location, offloading capabilities, and the dispatch origin. We will then contact you to coordinate and confirm the exact shipping terms, timelines, and any necessary delivery adjustments. We only capture your payment and process the order after you have reviewed and approved the final logistical terms.

Standard Flat-Rate Freight and Offloading Requirements To simplify the purchasing process, we offer standard flat-rate freight shipping to accessible commercial addresses or regional freight carrier terminals across Canada. The current standard flat-rate shipping fee will always be clearly calculated and displayed for you at checkout. Because we deal exclusively in heavy industrial equipment, all delivery locations must be equipped to safely offload the freight. The delivery site must have:

  • A forklift,
  • A skid steer with forks, or
  • A standard commercial loading dock.

Deliveries to residential addresses, locations requiring a liftgate, or remote, off-grid, and northern zones fall outside our standard flat-rate zones and will be quoted transparently during our pre-capture coordination process.

Processing and Transit Times In-stock orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1 to 3 business days following your final approval of the shipping terms. Transit times vary depending on your specific location, the dispatch facility, and regional carrier routing, generally ranging from 2 to 7 business days. Once your shipment leaves the loading dock, you will receive a tracking number and carrier contact details to monitor your delivery.

Risk of Loss and Freight Damage All shipments are sent FOB (Free on Board) Origin. This means the risk of loss and title for the equipment passes to you, the buyer, the moment the freight carrier picks up the item from the dispatching facility. However, as a partner to your business, we will act on your behalf to file freight claims if transit damage occurs, provided you follow the strict receiving protocol below.

Freight Receiving Protocol You must thoroughly inspect all heavy freight upon delivery before signing the carrier’s Bill of Lading (BOL) or delivery receipt.

  • If structural damage or missing items are visible, you must explicitly note "DAMAGED" on the carrier’s paperwork before signing.
  • You must notify us at orders@griffinattachments.ca within 24 hours with photos of the damage.
  • Failure to note damage upon signing legally releases the freight carrier and Griffin Attachments from any liability, and we will be unable to process a damage claim on your behalf.
